The African & Caribbean Energy Network (ACEN) was proud to serve as a media partner for the West Africa Industrialisation, Manufacturing & Trade Summit & Exhibition 2026, held from 3–5 March 2026 at Landmark Centre, Lagos, Nigeria.
This important gathering brought together policymakers, business leaders, investors, manufacturers, development partners, and other key stakeholders committed to advancing the industrial future of West Africa. In a region where industrialisation remains essential to economic transformation, the summit offered a timely and relevant platform for meaningful dialogue, strategic collaboration, and practical action.
At its core, the summit emphasized a message that continues to resonate across the continent: West Africa must move beyond discussion and into delivery. The conversations reflected a shared understanding that industrial development is not simply about factories and production lines. It is about building resilient economies, strengthening regional value chains, creating decent jobs, attracting investment, and ensuring that growth is both inclusive and sustainable.
For ACEN, this partnership was especially meaningful. Our work has always centered on transformation, empowerment, and the creation of enabling systems that support long-term development across Africa and the Caribbean. Industrialisation is deeply connected to energy access, infrastructure, policy alignment, logistics, and human capital development. Without these foundations working together, sustainable growth remains difficult to achieve.
