The African & Caribbean Energy Network (ACEN) proudly hosted a landmark energy panel at the Diaspora Africa Conference, organized by Amb. Eze Chukwu held February 25-27, 2026, at The Ion innovation district in Houston, Texas. Our session, “Powering the Future: Integrating AI, Critical Minerals, and Smart Technology into the U.S.-Africa Energy Value Chain,” brought together diaspora leaders, investors, policymakers, energy executives, and innovators to tackle one of the most pressing challenges of our time: building a resilient, AI-enabled energy ecosystem that serves Africa and its global diaspora.
